To the east of Perth, Western Australia, lies the Swan Valley, noted for its cellar doors. Alternatively, with the wonderful Mediterranean weather, take a cruise down the Swan River to the winery doors.
You will have a warm quirky welcome at Fish Tail Wines. Here, all the wines are named after fish and, if needed, there is help in selecting that special wine for your table. Also at Cambrook is Ambrook Winery, run by Mickele Amonini. This new winery has many fruity wines and much care is taken with the growing of the grapes.
Houghton's winery is one of the most famous in Australia. This leading Swan Valley Winery has twilight concerts in its grounds with picnics an essential ingredient. The white burgundy, by Jack Mann, is worth a taste!

In early October visit Swan Valley for 'Spring in the Swan Valley'. Enjoy Australia's biggest food and wine carnival! During April, the five weeks of Taste of the Valley includes tastings, entertainment and events that highlight the essential characteristics of Swan Valley.
